Product Description

DE was selected by the City of Kenner for design of Loyola Drive Improvements between Veterans Boulevard and I-10 which serves as Phase II of the City's proposed North Terminal Access Road which will serve as the official entrance to the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport's new North Terminal.

The design includes a double left turn lane for Veterans Boulevard westbound to the southbound Access Road, as well as a dedicated left turn lane for northbound Loyola Drive onto I-10 westbound and associated roadway widening. It also includes the design of new traffic signals at both the Veterans Boulevard and I-10 intersections. Traffic signal timings will be evaluated for existing and projected traffic volumes with the opening of the North Terminal. Syncro or Vistro will be utilized in the analysis.

All work will be performed in accordance with Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) and Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) most current standards and requirements.
