Project Description

Digital Engineering completed conceptual engineering drawings and a technical memorandum which provides concepts, costs, recommendations, and a schedule to provide a long-term sustainable solution for the water supply in LaPlace.

The evaluation included determining a location for a new water intake pump station on the Mississippi River, identifying a raw water transmission main route from the new pump station to the reverse osmosis treatment facility, and pre-treatment at the reverse osmosis facility. Modifications to the Lions Water Treatment Plant to continue compliance with the LDHH regulations and expand the plant to GMGD were also evaluated.
