OUR STORY. In 1990, Digital Imaging was founded as a company that specialized in scanning as-built drawings and converting them to digital files for local government agencies. Three years later, Digital added an engineering component to the company whereby changing the name of the firm to Digital Engineering and Imaging, Inc.
As time went on, the imaging sector of the company faded and the engineering division grew stronger. While we are still registered as Digital Engineering & Imaging, Inc., we are commonly referred to as Digital Engineering or DE.
Thirty years later, DE is a full service engineering and planning firm specializing in transportation and water resources throughout Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. Bettering our communities along the Gulf Coast is our sole purpose in prioritizing our clients’ needs and offering them cradle-to-grave services to successfully implement projects at any stage.
Our definition of full service engineering and planning is delivering quality products and projects to surpass the clients’ goals, ensure their objectives are delivered, and ultimately our communities are improved. As a Small Business, we make it a priority to fully engage our clients in their projects and provide them a personal touch by offering full access to principals and project managers on every project.
