Digital Engineering’s project, Bogue Falaya Park Shoreline Protection and Paddlers Launch, is the recipient of the ACEC of Louisiana 2019 Engineering Excellence Award (EEA) in the Special Projects Category. Our project will now be eligible for entry to the National ACEC EEA Competition.
Each year, engineering firms are invited to enter their most innovative projects and studies for the state competition conducted by ACEC/L. Project entries must be designed by engineers located in Louisiana and are judged by a distinguished panel of professionals who rate on the basis of uniqueness and/or innovative application of new or existing techniques; future value to the engineering profession and enhanced public awareness/enthusiasm of the role of engineering; social, economic, and sustainable development considerations; complexity; and successful fulfillment of client/owner needs, including schedule and budget.
