On Friday, October 6, New Orleans City Park was excited to host a ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly constructed Marconi Multi-Use Path. A wonderful addition to the Park's existing bicycle and pedestrian network, the 10' wide Marconi Path runs along Marconi Drive between Harrison Avenue and Robert E. Lee Boulevard.
This multi-use bike path was designed to be utilized by both cyclists and pedestrians and was funded through a federal grant administered by the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development as well as the non-profit group, Friends of City Park.
DE provided the construction engineering and inspection for this project. To read the full details on the ribbon cutting event, click here.
