What is your legacy you want to leave in your engineering career?

In recognition of National Engineers Week, DE has posed questions to our engineering staff about their profession and the impact, lessons learned, and personal fulfillment it entails.

Today's Q&A features Bruce Newton, P.E. who is the Executive Vice President of DE and manages contracts and operations in the Mississippi office while assisting in business development along the Gulf Coast.

Q: What is your legacy you want to leave in your engineering career?

A: The two key elements of a successful engineering consulting firm are strong client relationships and quality employees. With that being said, when I’m no longer working, I would hope that my working legacy would consists of teaching our employees how to provide high-level client service. This would consist of both mentoring and transferring knowledge to younger employees so that the long term success of Digital Engineering is sustained.
