On Wednesday, April 12, Jefferson Parish Department of Environmental Affairs Director, Mike Lockwood, led a local Boy Scouts troop through the East Bank Wastewater Treatment Plant. The tour of this wastewater treatment plant was part of the Boy Scouts' Public Health Merit Badge which requires a tour of a treatment facility.
DE prepared the handouts and figures that Mr. Lockwood used to teach the Boy Scouts about the treatment plant.
